Emotional Education for Early School Leaving Prevention (EUMOSCHOOL)
The Romanian RWCT Association will be engaged in the implementation of EUMOSCHOOL, as an associate partner and member of RWCT IC.
EUMOSCHOOL is an Erasmus +, KA2 project.

Goal: the project aims to contribute to the achievement of the ET 2020 Strategy to reduce early school leaving (ESL) to under 10% by 2020.
Objectives:
• develop, test and implement an innovative curriculum for emotional education in schools in 6 countries to provide a model for an effective intervention to reduce ESL;
• support schools to prevent ESL and to mitigate the impact of disadvantaged situations which affect students.
The project will provide schools with flexible tools to prevent ESL and to mitigate disadvantages. It will support 6-16-year-old students who are at risk of ESL by providing an emotional education curriculum and training teachers and tutors to implement the emotional education programme called Didactics of Emotions (DE).
Types of activities: research, preparation of a research report, development of the design of the e-learning course for teachers in the field of emotional education; piloting the course for teachers and students, transnational project meetings, learning and training activities, multiplying/ dissemination events.
Outputs:
O1: a comparative research report on emotional education in the partner countries
O2: open education resource: the e-learning platform for teachers
O3: the interactive guide for implementing a holistic approach to preventing early school leaving
